So it begins...Here we are...The Silly Season!  Crazy daze at the store.  iPods are goin' off.  Anything you can put in a stocking for Christmas.  My weekend off this weekend, but will work anyway as it's the busiest time of the year.  Roll on the Boxing Day Sales!

The hot season has started.  Gonna be 36 today.  Too bloody hot!  Hope that change comes this afternoon.  Christmas party on the weekend.  Get sized up for my suit on Thur.  It's gonna be fun (better be =P ).  Yeats never came in, but i still ended up winning 90 bucks!  Most from races that weren't the Melbourne Cup!  Go figure...

For the first time ever, I have to work Cup Day!  The Horror!!!  No champers in my hand at 2:30 on the first Tuesday of November.  Shocking!!!   Anyway, it'll be a casual day at work and hopefully a bit of fun.  Will have to organize the bets for the race early.  Tawqeet is supposed to be the favorite, but I think I'll have a flutter on Yeats.  Just a hunch...

Fridays are usually very long.  Up at 5:40am, home from work at 10:00pm.  Always look forward to the weekend.  BBQ went good, and did eventually get to use it on Thur. after all.  Stopped raining.  Char Schu chicken salad...yum!  Another BBQ this weekend, so all good.  Very much looking forward to the staff Christmas Party coming up on the 25th.  Might have to get a tux for this one...

Rain!!!  Remember that shit?  And it would be my day off...and I still have a BBQ to put together.  Oh, well.  Looks like indoor cooking tonight.
